After working
at the Coordinated Youth Services Council (CYSC)
approximately four or five years, the agency began looking at moving in
a different direction. I was the Clinical Director at the time, but my
position was going to be phased out. There were 14 to 16 people working
at the agency including interns from UC Berkeley and San Francisco State
University. I asked the Executive Director if I could go to half time
and seek other employment which I was I allowed to do since my position
was going to be eliminated within a short time. I spent time in prayer
and the Lord allowed another agency to pick me up half time. The Board of Directors of CYSC
decided that they wanted me to remain at the agency. Currently, the
agency has a staff of four (4) and I am the only original employee that
was kept; I am also working full-time at CYSC. I am convinced that
living for God and
prayer made ALL the difference. |
